Virtual private servers (VPS hosting) are a low-cost alternative to common cloud hosting. Both of these services are operated on completely different hardware, and they both take advantage of virtualisation. In contrast to cloud hosting, we do not provide service availability guarantees for virtual servers.

There is nothing stopping you. Each virtual server on the KVM platform has its own OS/core, and so it is technologically possible to run Docker on it as well.
